Remedy Records is an Independent label based in south west London... the featured artist is Dom Brown who currently plays lead guitar for Duran Duran.  
   

 

 

Dom Brown:

 

Dom has been the lead guitarist with Duran Duran since 2006 and co-wrote all but two songs on their recent Mark Ronson produced album All You Need Is Now.
He also shares writing credits with Mark Ronson, Anamatronic (Scissor Sisters), Kelis, and Nick Hodgson (Kaiser Chiefs).

 

Described by Bluesmatters as having produced "superb guitar work", Dom has written and produced 2 critically acclaimed solo albums released on Remedy Records.
Mojo described Dom as someone who "clearly has the chops, playing with verve and intelligence".

Dom is involved in several writing projects and his band, Blue To Brown, featuring his father Rob Brown are releasing their eponymous debut album in February 2013.

 

Dom is currently on a World Tour with Duran to promote the new album and the shows are being described as the best and most exciting of their career. .... He is a very in demand guitarist and has toured extensively worldwide working with some of the top musicians, producers, and major label artists in the industry including Duran Duran, Mark Ronson, Justin Timberlake, The Sugababes, Liam Gallagher and many other top artists. .... As well as having a successful session career, Dom has established himself as a solo artist and fuses singer-songwriter intimacy with electrifying guitar intensity and a bluesy, experimental style. Since childhood, he has been fine-tuning his craft and turning his life into music. .... Dom has a well rehearsed pool of great musicians who perform and record with him on his solo material. They include band members of Faithless, Primal Scream, Van Morrison, Groove Armada, Neil Cowley Trio and musicians who have worked with Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Kanye West, Goldfrapp and Moby among others.

 

Dom was commissioned by the BBC to compose and record the music for The Pardoner's Tale (featuring Jonny Lee Miller) as part of BBC1's critically acclaimed The Canterbury Tales series. He also wrote the title and background music for "Shake" showing regularly on Channel 5.

Blue To Brown is a dynamic and exciting father-son blues band featuring Rob Brown and Dom Brown.

 

Rob Brown (lead vocalist of Gets/z Loose) is a deep and powerful vocalist/blues shouter. The Daily Express described him as "Robert Johnson on overdrive".
He is also an established voice artist.

The band are releasing their eponymous debut of all original material in Febtuary 2013. Produced by Dom, the album features drummer Darrin Mooney (Primal Scream, Gary Moore), sax player Martin Winning (Van Morrison, John Martyn), backing vocalist Anna Ross (Duran Duran, Stereophonics), bassist Jonathan Noyce (Gary Moore, Jethro Tull) and keyboardist Mike Bramwell (Whitesnake, Uli Jon Roth).
